The Delta Center for Culture and Learning was founded to promote a broad understanding of the culture of the Mississippi Delta and its significance to America today. The Delta Center is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the humanities and environmental sciences as they relate to the Delta. While we are based within the university setting, The Delta Center works throughout the region, with local Chambers of Commerce, K-12 school districts, Community Development Corporations (CDCs), and visiting college groups from around our nation.
